Here they were, the Peter Pan crew.
We went to a BIG festival at FBCWoodway, then came home for a party/outreach at our house. We had lots of people come and ate lots of good food! During the evening fun, Tinkerbell lost her wings, TigerLily took off her boots, Peter Pan rejected his hat, and the pirate puked all over himself. It was a FUN night!

A Pumpkin Story by Kayla.
Not long ago me and my family went to a pumpkin patch in a town called Floydada, its in Texas.
There was a big red barn where they sold alot of pumpkins.
The pumpkins came from a real pumpkin patch that was right next to the barn. The pumpkins grow from the vine, and the vine grows from the ground. My family helps grow this patch.
There was all different kinds, colors and shapes of pumpkins.
There was this beautiful shiny pumpkin, it shined in the sun!
There was a grandma and witch pumpkin, and a bunch of different character pumpkins! My favorite one was the puppy pumpkin.
We found a pumpkin that we liked best to take home. We weighed it, and it weighed 12 pounds!
Then we looked around, there was a car that was dressed up like a pumpkin too! We got tired and hungry and went back home.
We put the great pumpkin on our front porch.
Then it was finally time to carve the pumpkin. We carved it in our back yard. We made a scary pumpkin!
Silly Daisy, she kept eating the insides of the pumpkin, yuck!
We put it back out on the front porch, and put and candle in it. Then we lit up the pumpkin with a candle inside.
It looks very scary to me. What I like the most about our pumpkin now is it has a great big smile!
I just know all the trick or treaters will be scared!

Doggone Good Patient
This is the sticker Emily is proudly wearing after visiting the doctor today.
Yesterday after climbing in the tree, she got bark in her eye- which led to her falling out of the tree suffering some scratches and bruises. Since then, her eye has been really out of whack, swollen and red.
The doctor's findings were a corneal abrasion. The cornea is an amazing feature to the eye. It acts as a shield to to eye, see picture below.
So Emily gets to sport an eye patch for a couple of days and will endure eye drops 4 times a day for a complete healing.
She
is
proud
of her
eye
patch
and
proud
of her
sticker!

Curtains..and someone worth mentioning!
We are redoing the girls room to be more appropriate for 2nd graders! So, my sister in law Becca, aka Aunt Becca, made these curtains for the girls.
We like these curtains not just because they are cute- they are also practical. Theres pockets on the curtains! The curtains are currently holding the girls webkinz and journals. What a great idea!!
I cannot begin to tell you all how amazing Aunt Becca is. Not only is she a full time mom, but she has started a business called ALLINDIE DESIGNS. She makes things like jewelry, purses, curtains, theraputic rice pillows, baby burp rags, embroidery, belts, bandana dresses, candy jars, oh mygoodness and so much more!!!
You can view her business web page here, or order online here. And see more of her products here. She also has a family website like us, you can view it here. She is very talented, and very prompt with her work! I totally recommend Becca to any of you out there interested in getting a new belt, or curtains, or a rice pillow!
WE LOVE YOU AUNT BECCA!!

Star Student
Emily
got to
be the
star
student
this last
week at
school.
At the end
of the week,
each student
in the class wrote
why they think
Emily is a star.
The teacher compiled
all the writings
in a book.
I took a few pics of some of the writings. PRICELESS! (Click on image to view full screen to read the writings better.)
This is definitely one of those keepers to store away in the hope chest with all the other approved keepers!
