The kids went away with Don and Jo who live there while Joel and I hit the town together alone. (So thankful!) Jo even made us a goody basket- with fruit, muffins, and cookies.
We enjoyed exploring Austin. We went out on the town and had some steak, we enjoyed our stay with a jacuzzi tub, we loved the opportunity to sleep in, toured lots of bike shops, had lunch at the Whole Foods and did some mountain biking at Bull Creek.
We later picked up the kids on Saturday and had a birthday dinner. The kids each had a card and present to give. It was a great time had by all!
We love and appreciate our dad for all that he is and all that he does for our family! We would be lost without him. Literally!
