DC: Day Five

We traveled through Virginia to Williamsburg. What BEAUTIFUL countryside! We traveled far to spend the day at Colonial Williamsburg. Click here to read more about this amazing place.

"Be Present In The Past" is their motto and boy are they not kidding. We felt like we were walking into the 1700's-1800's. People dressed in old fashioned clothes, men working their crops, women doing laundry outside, old women out sewing, young men carrying buckets of water...all the old buildings. You could taste, see, touch, smell, and hear the past.

Cant wait to post pics.

Tomorrow is our last day. SAD! But we are ready to go home. Everyone is worn out. In the morning we will take our last Metro ride to take a tour of the Bureau of Printing and Engraving and a tour of the Washington Monument.

Then we will hop on two planes and venture home. We will get in late! Your prayers are coveted as we wrap up our journey. We need a last burst of energy!
